I’m like uberly happy! And as I like to show progress.. I took pics here and there~ Here they are!

White shirt w/ sleeves! I hate the cosplay during this stage, it makes it look like it won’t turn out right xD

Oh and these pics do show off my hair a bit more too. I puropsely put my long hair part in the back cause it kinda looks like Haruhi’s hair like how it is in the pic yea?
I told you it was short! (but more about that later)

This Haruhi outfit in total will be done in about.. what…4-5 days? Pretty quick yea? I believe so. Needa get it done for Halloween!
My bro told me about a cosplay contest up farther than where my school is.
I want to enter something in but nothing I already plan to enter. the prize is $100 so I really do wanna win.
I was thinking either this Haruhi OR Miku! Cause both are well known. Miku will stick out cause of her hair though…

Either way. I plan to do that. It’s the day after Halloween so… o.o;; wait when is that?! Oh sunday. Whew. Okay that’s fine with me xD

Yes so I finally.. finally!! Started on the Haruhi skirt like I said I would.

and I learned from it! I learned… my butt causes a butt load of problems -.-;;
But whatever. I fixed it. just some creative thinking.
I’m not totally done yet and the pics suck cause… there isn’t many steps to this skirt.
It did take me a few hours to make cause I was ironing lots of wickery tape instead of sewing.
It looks cleaner.
And I lost my steam ripper… agiain!!! Argh. I didn’t get to use this one yet… Have to clean tomorrow T.T

So here’s some pics~

I think… 2… or 3 yds of blue!! So much >.< Too much! I used a little more than half of one side.

Actually had to do measurements to know how far to space everything apart. I’m proud of myself~ I did measurements!

2 in. box pleats. yay.

The top part. I want it so no thread is showing on top OR bottom.

And it doesn’t! Here is sorta the fit. it’ll be better.

I WAS thinking of doing a tutorial. But my ways are uberly long and too complex to put into a video. Like… seriously >.<
I’ll put the velcro on later. Then I have to go to Joanns to find the belt part.. I know how to make the belt but I need to buy the metal part.
Then the skirt’s done! I’m happy. I feel accomplished today.

(PS. I killed the HUGE cockroach today. I’m happy. But I refused to throw it away. it creeps me out more that they are dead. cause I’m scared it’ll rise suddenly and attack me T.T)

So I just took pics of my steps. It’s a circle skirt. And I forgot to take some pics but… meh.

So I’m done with her skirt… it’s kinda see through cause I was lazy to double up on the fabric. But I think it’ll be okay since I’ll be wearing shorts and another skirt underneath xD

Oh! I decided to take pics of my progress~ So here’s the whole line!

Regular fabric~

Made pleats.. man that took long

Sewed the top part with velcro~

Hemmed it up and sewing on the white ribbon!

And that’s just about it.
Didn’t take up THAT much fabric… actually did some decent measuring.
Also took me a few hours… maybe 3? Not so long.
I believe it’s long enough to wear out but I’m able to make it shorter xD
I just need to long enough to walk out of the house and around place with. you know?
Can’t have it uberly short >.<;;

And the fabric is not purple. That’s just the poor lighting in the room …

This is well off one of the worst pic’s I’ve taken.
Why?
I’m trying to show off a white shirt (in the making) while wearing a white tanktop -.-;;
Yea I probably could’ve taken the shirt off, but then… err… naw xD
The hole in the middle? I was just too lazy to do the buttons things I put in.
Which btw too so long! Had to hand sew each one asecurly too because if it pops of… omgsh >.<

But I got the top and bottom ruffles in~ wooo!! Just got 4 rows of ruffles in the front and ribbons and wala~
Gonna re do the skirt because… wow. This is my first time actually getting ruffles right! So I shall re-do the skirt I showed before…

Wonderful ne? I even colored it all~ hehe.
I thought this dress would even be cute to make! I actually got the idea of this picture from another on the internet. I can’t really draw poses that well so I need reference pictures >.< But I ended up liking this picture a lot.

I went to Barnes and nobles again yesterday and worked on my drawing skills. I actualyl jts wanted to see if I could find any cute dresses in anime books xD And I found one! That is on my list to make because it is incredibly simple.

Cute huh? I know ^-^ a whole buncha ruffles and a big bow~
This will be simple to make which I’m really happy about.
And I’m able to wear it out for whatever!
So look forward to it!
I’m planning on buying fabric (with my own money T.T) tomrrow.
So maybe I’ll make a tutorial and all of me making this dress. Maybe xD
Maybe video stuff isn’t for me.

Cute? I know!!
The pink puff ball can be a hold stand holder xD I had it attatched to my phone for awhile. But then had to take it off because it was getting too hard to take out of my bag xD I’ll have the pink puff ball on there now and then though~
I added my gems to the front. Just for the heck of it. You can see a few came off already. That’s fine with me. I didnt actually glue them xD I got lazy.
It makes my phone look so much prettier now.. lol

I told myself yesterday AND today I’ll do some sewing. But I seriously don’t like to make things unless I have a full plan.

So it’s quite annoying me. That I can’t sew anything. I seriously still want a manniquin xD it would be so helpful… I’ve already spent so much cosplaying… and I don’t think i’ll stop anytime soon. xD It doesn’t hurt to do some commissions too. Maybe. Maybe.
Since it may hurt xD

Who knows! I want a new dress though. Maybe I’ll just sew it xD
